Users can enroll a Service Request and schedule a pickup of their out of guarantee gadget at their desired date and time.
To utilize this Onsite service, the user needs to enroll the issue details by giving certain data about the customer and the gadget that should be serviced.
A Service Order # will be produced on successful registration and same will be shared over customer’s email for future reference. A dispatch pickup will be scheduled for the gadget pickup on the mentioned date.
How to register for Amazon’s out of warranty devices ?
If you want to register a repair request for your Amazon Kindle, Fire TV stick, and Alexa in India, then follow these steps.
- Open this link – https://amazonoow.ctdi.co.in/
- Click on Issue Registration tab.
- Click on Accept button. You need to scroll down to the bottom of Terms & Conditions.
- Then you need to choose your device – Fire TV Stick, Kindle or Echo Product
- Once you choose your product, a service description and their respective charges will be shown to screen.
- If you are ok with given amount, click on ‘Proceed with Registration’
- Next, you need to provide your details like Mobile number and Email Id and you have to authorize it by providing the OTP which will be sent to your mobile number and Email Id.
- Post successful validation, you have to enter your basic information like Name, Address, Pin Code etc.
- Final step is to provide Product related information.
After successful submission of repair request, you will receive an email with shipment details. In most of the cases, it will be FedEx shipment details in a pdf file.
Take a printout of the pages available in pdf.
Before the scheduled pickup time, you need to pack you device properly and affix the printout on your packet.
Note: Please read the printout carefully, it is mentioned that which page should be pasted on which side of courier box. In my case, I had requested for Alexa Echo Dot repair, so the packet was very small and I pasted only one page on the front of the packet and wrap it well with transparent tape.
Once your product is picked up by courier company, you can track the same website on https://amazonoow.ctdi.co.in/ by clicking on Track Issue link.
Now, you have to wait for 3-5 working days and you will receive an email from [email protected] with subject line “Estimation Charges – Service request number”.
You can review the repair cost in that email and scroll down to the bottom of email content.
If you are agree to pay the repair cost then click on ‘Approve & Make Payment’ and if you do not wish to continue with the charges then click on ‘Reject & Cancel the Repairs’
Note: This service is described for customers in India. Amazon Fire tablet repair option is not available here.
